Selling my book.

It has been a while since my last blog. I have been busy trying to work out what it is I am meant to be doing to earn a living. I thought my whole change in direction with my book 'A Place Above the Stars: The Incarnating Soul' was my new direction but then I got asked to apply for a teaching job at a Steiner School, so I did, even though I was/am still having issues with my balance and seeing a physiotherapist. I got offered the job but this didn't work out for the students, the school or for me, so I am no longer working there. The moment I stopped I have just crashed and burned suffering from major chronic fatiuge. Working fulltime as a teacher was too much too soon for me and pushing myself through my balance issues has exhausted me. During this time I had prebooked (last year) a stall at a few Body and Soul Holistic Expos to sell my book 'A Place Above the Stars: The Incarnating Soul'. I didn't sell as many as I would like. I covered the cost of the stall but not the cost of the book. But more people have it. My book is a product that they don't know they need to buy because they are there for a tarot reading or to buy crystals etc and then my niche is very small because my book is for parents or grandparents to read to their child/children who are zero to seven years of age. It is getting out there very slowly. Some of the reactions from customers who bought a copy were amazing. There were tears because the truth of the words they read really resonated with them, there were goosebumps and customers who shared their own stories. These made it worth it. It was also special to have my youngest child Beau, sit beside me helping to sell my book. By the way Beau and Kat had my granddaughter in January, her name is Archetta (the inspiration behind my book) . I am so lucky to receive cuddles with her nearly every day. It is just so special.

So now that I am not working, I am thinking about how I can make my book, some expos and website earn me money, while being on a waiting list to see a neurologist and hopefully sort out why I am having so much trouble walking after all this time after my freak accident. I have asked the Universe/God how can I make money from what I have already set up, so that I can have money to write and self-publish more children's books? Then I was lucky to find this 'Visibility Bootcamp' by Susie Moore an English lady living in America, online. So here I am learning about what she has to offer, while she's in America and I am in Australia at 3am, learning how to get my book out there and be helped by the media. Day 1 done. It made me think I need to start my blog back up again. I want to start blogging about spiritual concepts, parenting and teaching.
